Renovexus Top Rated 2026
Top Rated 2026: how we pick the winners
For 2026 we named up to 3 Top Rated businesses per town and category, from the same public data every listing is scored on. 405 businesses won, one award each.
Want it on your wall? Award kits and plaques. Recognition is free. Buying anything never changes a score, rank or award.
The rules
- Only towns with a real comparison: at least 3 businesses in the category located in that town.
- Remodelers (kitchen, bath, basement) must hold a state license we matched and checked. Showrooms, cabinet stores and countertop shops, which need no contractor license, win only in their own trade.
- One award per business: its best result.
- At least 4.5 stars on Google from 15 or more reviews.
- Ranked by the public Renovexus Score: state license check, rating, review volume, website and profile.
What we never do
- Sell an award. Paid Featured placement plays no part in it.
- Ask for a link, a review or anything else in return. Winners may show the badge on their website if they like; it changes nothing on Renovexus.
- Keep an award that no longer holds: winners are recalculated from the data on every update, and the badge disappears with it.

Common questions
Can a business pay to be Renovexus Top Rated?
No. Winners are picked from public data only: the state license check, the Google rating and review count, the business website and its profile. Nobody pays and nobody can.
How many winners are there per town?
Up to 3 per town and category, and only where at least 3 businesses located in the town compete.
Why did a well-rated business not win?
It needs a 4.5+ rating from at least 15 Google reviews, a matched license for remodelers, and a place in the top 3 by score in its town and category. Each business wins at most one award.
What does a winner get?
An optional badge for its own website. It is free and changes nothing on the site.
